Terms of Service.

These terms govern your use of Balto. (“Balto,” “we,” “us”), an AI-assisted content generation service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Balto.

1. The service

Balto. curates public news feeds and generates social-media content in a voice you define. We operate the underlying AI models on your behalf; you spend credits to run generations. Features, model availability and pricing may change as we improve the product — we will communicate material changes in advance.

2. Your account

To use Balto. you need an account. You agree to:

• →Provide accurate signup information and keep it current.
• →Keep your login credentials secret — you are responsible for activity under your account.
• →Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country).
• →Use one account per person. Sharing a single account across a team is not permitted on Free, Starter or Pro tiers.

3. Credits & billing

Balto. bills in credits. You receive credits in three ways:

• →A one-time 50-credit welcome bonus when you sign up.
• →A monthly grant tied to your paid plan (Starter, Pro, Agency) that applies when the subscription activates or renews.
• →One-time credit packs (Small, Medium, Large) available to paid plans. Packs never expire.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel from your billing portal — access remains until the end of the current period, and any remaining balance stays yours to spend.

All fees are charged in USD via Stripe. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which Stripe may add at checkout based on your location. Credit packs are final sale. We may offer a prorated refund of an unused subscription within seven days of charge if you contact operations@baltobuild.com — this is discretionary and not a warranty.

4. Your content

You own what you put in and what you generate. The personas you define, the feed sources you add, the prompts you write and the outputs you keep are your content.

You grant Balto. a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and process that content solely to operate the service for you. We will not use your content to train AI models, display it to other users, or publish it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Balto. to generate, publish, or attempt to produce:

• →Content that sexualises minors, glorifies violence, or incites real-world harm.
• →Harassment, defamation, or targeted attacks on individuals.
• →Malware, phishing, fraud, or material that violates third-party rights.
• →Spam, synthetic engagement, or high-volume automated posting that deceives audiences.
• →Material that violates the terms of the downstream AI provider we route your request to.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund of the remaining balance.

6. AI outputs — honest disclaimer

Large language models can be inaccurate, biased, or confidently wrong. You are responsible for reviewing any generated content before publishing it. Balto. makes no warranty that generated content is true, original, safe to publish, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Suspension & termination

You can close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or close your account for breach of these terms, for failure to pay, or if we stop offering the service. Where practical we will give 30 days’ notice before closing an account in good standing.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes (pricing, usage rights, liability) will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Balto. after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

9. Warranty & liability

Balto. is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid Balto. in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Balto. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer located elsewhere, mandatory local consumer-protection laws still apply.
